Naher Osten

Vom ersten bis zum fünften November reist Daniel Cohn-Bendit nach Israel, Palästina und die besetzten Gebiete. Ein Jahr nach der Konferenz von Annapolis möchte er sich ein Bild der aktuellen Situation machen. Treffen mit Vertretern aus Politik und Zivilgesellschaft in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Ramallah und Hebron versprechen ein breites Spektrum an Informationen.

Daniel Cohn-Bendit, Ko-Vorsitzender der Fraktion der Grünen/EFA, besucht vom 1.-5. November 2008 Israel, Palästina sowie dessen besetzte Gebiete.

Dieser Besuch findet ein Jahr nach der Konferenz von Annapolis statt, auf der sich Israel und Palästina einigten, bis Ende 2008 ein Friedensabkommen abzuschließen.

Ziel der Reise ist es, sich ein Bild über die Entwicklungen seit der Unterzeichnung des Abkommens von Annapolis zu machen. Dazu trifft sich Daniel Cohn-Bendit mit Vertretern von Politik und Zivilgesellschaft in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Ramallah und Hebron.

Zum Abschluss seiner Reise wird Daniel Cohn-Bendit am 4. November auf Einladung der Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung in der "Open University" von Ra'anana eine Rede halten zum Thema "60 Jahre Israel - Elemente für eine europäische Perspektive".
